Happy Day

There isn't much that TOPS my happiness these days...but a dear friend's news of their new arrival of their adopted baby due in March 2013 completely has me OVER THE TOP with joy!

A little background:  we met Charlene in February 2009 at our first round of PRIDE (when we were planning on adopting domestically).  THEN, in January 2012 we met her AGAIN (with a new husband) at the 'PRIDE' training for this (international) adoption. 

It has been a terribly tough road for her and her husband to adopt...not fitting into many countries' criteria (considering they've only been married a year, in fact they JUST celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary), then with the domestic wait and issues with the social development department....WELL, that's another whole story.

On the way to the movies tonight....I caught her facebook status announcing the arrival in March 2013 of their new born in Nunavut (the territories in Canada).

I started BAWLING my eyes out with JOY, overfilled joy.

There are NO two people that are SO deserving of this child and NO child that will be MORE loved than this little one. 

I can't stop thinking of how happy, relieved and overjoyed they must be feeling!  Oh and don't forget about the fact that their 9 month pregnancy has just become a 4 month pregnancy (tee! hee!).

Oh Charlene & Jamie, if you read this.....you are SO loved!  We couldn't be MORE happy than we are tonight.  Tonight we SHARE in your joy with you!!!

We have ONE weekend left before we travel...so PLEASE use me and abuse me for anything you can next weekend...I would be SO honoured to help you in YOUR journey!!!
